HOUSTON Three suspects were arrested after trying to steal more than $21,000 worth of electronics from a Target early Sunday in west Houston, police said.

According to the Houston Police Department, the incident happened around 3:45 a.m. at the Target located at Westheimer and Lazy Hollow.

Investigators said three male suspects with masks and gloves busted in the front glass door of the store and made a dash for the electronics department. The suspects began taking items like tablets, headphones, laptops and other electronics.

At the same time, the security company was on the phone with HPD and describing what the suspects were doing and gave their description, police said.

HPD arrived pretty quickly, and saw the three suspects leaving out of the back door of the store, and gave chase for a few blocks.

Police caught two of the three, while a K-9 unit found the third suspect hiding in some bushes. All three were arrested.

The suspects had three large garbage bags full of electronics, which totaled more than $21,000.
