British skier Rowan Cheshire fell during a training run for the Olympic ski halfpipe competition and was taken to the hospital for overnight evaluation. The 18-year-old to the brunt of the crash on her face and head, sustaining a concussion.
Cheshire took a selfie as one does after a horrible crash reminding everyone everywhere to wear a helmet when you launch your body 20 feet into the air.
The British Olympic Association released a statement following Cheshire s accident.
After examination by Team GB medical personnel it is confirmed that she has a concussion and, as a precaution, will stay at a local hospital overnight for further evaluation.
The women s ski halfpipe competition is Thursday and while it is still unclear if Cheshire will be healthy enough to compete, her photo game is still very strong.
