HOUSTON Doctors say more babies are getting misshapen heads because the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends babies sleep on their backs to prevent SIDs.

The number of SIDs cases has gone way down but now nearly half of all two-month-olds have misshapen heads.

Doctors suggest giving your baby plenty of tummy time while they are awake, carrying your baby in a sling and moving its head from side to side during nap time.
