HOUSTON - Police were called to a convenience store west of downtown early Friday after masked men crashed a truck through a wall to steal an ATM.

According to the Houston Police Department, it was around 3 a.m. when an older Dodge pickup truck smashed into the side of an Exxon along the Katy Freeway at TC Jester.

A clerk in the store at the time said six men wearing masks jumped out of the truck, loaded up the store s ATM, and then sped away. The clerk was not injured.

Police said surveillance cameras may have recorded the entire crime.

This is just the latest in a series of ATM smash-and-grabs plaguing the Houston area.
