HOUSTON A salesman at Gillman Honda was stabbed and carjacked after he left work Monday night in connection with a domestic dispute, Houston police said.

The attack happened at about 7:40 p.m. in the 10500 block of West Sam Houston Parkway near the Southwest Freeway.

It all began when Khai Nguyen s girlfriend, a student, was abducted from the parking lot of Houston Community College s Spring Branch campus by her ex-boyfriend.

The ex-boyfriend met her on campus and forced her to call Nguyen, police said. Then he drove her to the dealership where they found Nguyen sitting in his car. Nguyen's girlfriend got into his vehicle and her ex-boyfriend fired several shots in Nguyen s direction before stabbing him, police said. Nguyen then got out of his vehicle and ran.

The suspect then jumped into Nguyen s vehicle and drove away with the woman, police said.

Nguyen was transported to Ben Taub Hospital where he was listed in fair condition.

His girlfriend was later dropped off an undisclosed location. Her ex-boyfriend has not been found.

This is the second violent confrontation at a car dealership in two weeks.

Robert Kuentz, a manager at Mac Haik Chevrolet, was shot in the neck on Nov. 30. Kuentz, 30, passed away last Monday afternoon at Memorial Hermann Hospital.

Keith Edward Grimmett, 49, was charged with murder after Kuentz passed away. Grimmett, a Mac Haik salesman, was angry about a meeting the two had the day before, according to court documents.
