ELROY, TX -- Engines are roaring on day two of the U.S. Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas.

Formula 1 drivers are racing for position in Sunday s big race. Tens of thousands are taking it all in from the grandstands.

The crowds are great! The track is amazing and really easy access in. It's been good, Robert Gamblin, an F1 fan from Arlington, Texas, said .

The buzz from fans at COTA is competing with the buzz from the race track.

I ve been to the one in Belgium a few years ago. It s definitely different, Raymond Chung, an F1 fan from Canada, said. Great facility; brand new track; everything s been great.

On Saturday, F1 drivers will compete for the best race position. The drivers are zipping around the 3.4 mile course at 200 miles per hour; taking in all 20 turns in the qualifiers.

Fans took in the sights from the bleachers and the grassy knolls. Many already have their pick for the win.

I would like to say that I just want to see a good race but I want to see Button win, Pamela Aird,an F1 fan from Canada, said.

Alonso! Alonso is the man. Fernando Alonso. He's gonna win, Jeffrey Harper, an added F1 fan from Lubbock, Texas, said.

You know, Sebastian Vettle is really fast. He always is. A new track, he's pretty adaptive so I think he's gonna be on top, said another F1 fan.

COTA is predicting some 120,000 fans at the track on Sunday to see who ultimately gets the checkered flag.
