HOUSTON After the long and enduring summer, Houston finally gets its first taste of fall this Sunday.

Basically, just a great looking day for a September weekend, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.

Temperatures on Saturday didn t break 90 for the first time all week and that cooler, less humid weather is here to stay for at least the next few days. Humidity is down to 66-percent, which is significantly lower than average for this time of year.

Sunday morning saw temperatures in the 60s and with all the sunshine, this afternoon might nudge the 90s but humidity will be low conditions will still be very pleasant.

In the 7-day forecast, another frontal boundary may affect the region around Wednesday or Thursday, when the possibility of rain returns.
