DENVER (AP) -- Jordan Pacheco broke an eighth-inning tie with a bloop two-run single off Fernando Rodriguez and the Colorado Rockies beat the Houston Astros 9-7 in the opener of a Memorial Day doubleheader.

Matt Belisle (2-2) earned the win with a scoreless inning of relief, and Rafael Betancourt pitched a perfect ninth for his ninth save in 10 tries.

The Rockies won for just the seventh time in 25 games this month.
