HOUSTON After trading their second round pick to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Texans drafted twice in the third round on Day 2 of the NFL Draft, taking Ohio State wide receiver DeVier Posey and guard Brandon Brooks out of Miami (OH).

Before being suspended the early part of his senior season, Posey racked up plenty of yards while in a Buckeye uniform. In 2009, he caught 60 passes for 828 yards and 8 touchdowns. A year later, he followed it up with even better numbers catching 53 passes for 848 yards and 7 touchdowns.

In 2011, Posey missed 10 games because of suspension and injury, only able to suit up in 3 games.

The Texans hope to groom Posey to be a nice compliment for Andre Johnson. Kevin Walter and Jacoby also return for Matt Schaub and the Texans offense.

Brooks is expected to play on the right side of the offensive line where the Texans lost two starters from their 2011 playoff run.
