That includes a sofa ($99), coffee table ($35), two end tables ($50 each), two chairs with ottomans ($99 each), two lamps ($15 each), four pieces of wall art ($20), a large wall mirror ($75) and curtains ($30).? The price does not include tax.

The store is called Southwest Surplus Furniture, located at 7700 North Freeway near the Little York exit. The store carries expensive furniture brand names like Henredon and McGuire.? Southwest Surplus goes to four- and five-star hotels to liquidate their used furniture any time the hotels remodel, the staff said.

"The Henredon armoires that we liquidated out of the St. Regis Hotel, those would run about $7,000 brand new," said Manuel Ochoa, Southwest Surplus Furniture manager.? But Southwest Surplus sells them used for $499.

The store has McGuire double cane-back chairs for $99.? They normally sell new for $1,500.

One more thing that adds up to Saving Cents, they will negotiate with you at Southwest Surplus.? So if you go, don't be shy about haggling over the prices.
