STAFFORD, Texas Friends of the 15-year-old found dead in an apparent murder-suicide in Stafford are baffled that her brother pulled the trigger.

It made all of our friends sad because she was close to all of us, said her Stafford High School classmate Keyshawn Spivey.

Fifthteen-year-old Rebecca Mughal and her 23-year-old brother Faheem were killed by their 18-year-old brother Fahad. Police said he used a shotgun and AR-15 semi-automatic rifle.

Then, he turned the gun on himself.

Stafford police said at 1:59 p.m. they received a 911 transfer call from the Houston Police Department from a mother screaming that her baby was dead.

When Stafford police arrived at the house located in the 13300 block of Venice Circle, the mother had returned home from work and found two of her children in the home. She said she believed they were deceased.

Police said the house was in disarray and that the incident started with some type of argument. All three of the siblings were discovered in separate rooms.

Since the killings, KHOU 11 News has learned that Fahad Mughal was a high school dropout.

Stafford Police also confirm that they have responded to the house eight times in about 10 years. They received various calls, a few were domestic involving the mother and older son, but there was no case that made this family standout.

Some friends say Rebecca and Fahad were very close.

Others remember that she used to change the conversation when his name came up.

Occasionally, she would talk about her brother but not a lot, recalled Spivey. She was blocked off about him, real sensitive about him.

Stafford police said Fahad has a clean record, and they may never know the motive behind the killings.

The funerals are set for Friday at the Al-Noor mosque at 2 p.m. Rebecca Mughal s friends plan to hold a candlelight vigil for her on Sunday night from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at Vaccaro Manor Park in Stafford.

Investigators said a fourth child was attending class at Houston Community College and was not at home during the shootings.
