The National Weather Service has issued a Hard Freeze Warning from midnight to 6 a.m. Wednesday.

The warning is for Austin, Brazos, Burleson, Colorado, Grimes, Harris, Houston, Liberty, Madison, Montgomery, Polk, San Jacinto, Trinity, Walker, Waller and Washington counties.

KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist David Paul says Tuesday night temperatures will drop to the mid-20s.

It will be in that range for three to five hours, said Paul.

The rain will be gone by Wednesday, but it will still be very cold in the early-morning hours in the 20s and 30s.
