HOUSTON -- No injuries were reported in a late-night fire that destroyed a home in north Houston.

The blaze was reported after 9 p.m. Monday on Elysian Street at Woodard Street. When the first units arrived, heavy fire was coming from a one-story wood-frame home.

Firefighters made a fast attack and knocked out the flames in about 20 minutes.

No one was home at the time.
