HOUSTON Wednesday will bring warmer weather thanks to southerly winds, KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist Gene Norman said.

The day will begin with lows in the upper 60s and highs will reach the low 80s.

We ll also start noticing the increased humidity on Wednesday, he said.

By the weekend, it will feel more like late spring or early summer than fall, with humidity at 60 percent and climbing. The high temperatures will also continue to climb over the next few days.

We still have a few more weeks until the end of hurricane season and experts are currently tracking two disturbances, one just east of the Bahamas.
