HOUSTON--It s a great first day of fall in Houston with great weather, said KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez.

There s a little more humidity near the coast than in the past few days but further inland, conditions are slightly cooler and drier.

Temperatures Saturday afternoon will peak in the low 90s with plenty of sunshine in northern counties. It will feel warmer in the more southerly counties and an ozone watch means that anyone with respiratory illnesses should stay indoors.

The 7-day forecast shows a slight chance of rain returning towards the end of the next work week
