PHILADELPHIA The FBI says a flight bound for Dallas has returned to Philadelphia after law enforcement officials received a tip that liquid explosives could be on board.

FBI spokesman Frank Burton says US Airways Flight 1267 was called back to Philadelphia International Airport after officials received the anonymous tip.

Authorities said they were alerted just after 7 a.m. that a person was armed with an explosive liquid and attempted to get past TSA and onto a flight to Dallas. That was later determined to be a hoax.

Airport spokeswoman Victoria Lupica says there were 98 passengers on board. She says no other flights have been affected by the activity.

US Airways did not immediately return a phone message left by The Associated Press.
