HOUSTON An offensive line already lacking in depth took another hit this weekend as the Houston Chronicle reports that Texans back-up guard Cody White tore his Achilles during the first day of Training Camp on Saturday.

Head coach Bill O Brien would not comment on the specific injury after practice on Sunday.

In addition to losing White, the team also waived 2013 draft pick Alan Bonner.

Entering the second day of camp, the Texans added some bodies to their line-backing core as they signed veterans Quentin Groves and Lawrence Sidbury.

Groves is a seven year NFL vet out of Auburn and played 5 games last year for Cleveland. Sidbury has spent a majority of his career with the Atlanta Falcons before spending some time with Indianapolis in 2013.
