HOUSTON Police have released surveillance video and photos of two men wanted in a car wash murder over the weekend.

Pablo Hernandez, 46, parked his 2007 Hummer in bay 6 of the car wash on Imperial Valley Drive Saturday around 8:30 p.m. He went inside a nearby washateria for change.

Outside, cameras caught two men, believed to be in their 20s, wandering the parking lot. One was wearing an orange hoodie with camouflage pants. The other suspect was wearing a white t-shirt, dark shorts and a camouflage jacket.

Houston police detectives think those suspects were waiting for Hernandez when he came out.

(Hernandez) was followed, HPD Detective Sgt. Eli Cisneros said.γ€€ He was targeted on the street, apparently for his vehicle and did not know he was being followed into the parking lot.

The suspects beat Hernandez repeatedly in the back of the head with a gun.

Witnesses heard screams.γ€€ One woman told KHOU 11 News she tried to help.

I explained to him that he needs to not move because when he moved, there was more blood, she said.

Hernandez was pronounced dead at the Houston Northwest Medical Center.

Cameras caught a glimpse of the suspects getaway car, silver PT Cruiser.γ€€The car is missing a front driver side hubcap and there is a dent on the rear driver side door.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers (713) 222-TIPS.
