HOUSTON Coastal showers will return to Galveston on Monday morning, and they ll move inland through the early afternoon with isolated showers continuing through the evening.

It ll be a quiet morning, and then get a little stormy heading into lunchtime and the afternoon, said KHOU 11 NewsMeteorologist DavidPaul.

The chance for rain will get as high as 50-percent by the afternoon with temps in the upper-80s.

Later this week, rain chances drop to 30-percent with temps in the low to mid-90s.

A flood warning is in effect until 10 p.m. on Tuesday for Harris County and 4 a.m. Tuesday for Montgomery and Brazoria Counties. A flood warning is also in effect for Calhoun County until 8 a.m. Monday and Liberty County until 4 p.m. Monday.
