HOUSTON Arian Foster said he ll be ready to play on opening day. ESPN says otherwise.

Foster hobbled off the field Saturday night during the Texans preseason game with the 49ers.

The Texans running back posted his hamstring MRI on Twitter Wednesday, along with this tweet, This is an MRI of my hamstring, The white stuff surrounding the muscle is known in the medical world as anti-awesomeness...

When the Twitter world exploded with tweets about Foster being seriously injured he replied, If I had a significant injury why post it? I ll be fine, it was jus meant to make fun of the whole situation. Humor is lost nowadays.

ESPN s Colin Cowherd said they had Dr. Michael Kaplin take a look at the MRI image and make his own diagnosis.

ESPN s Dr. Michael Kaplin thinks Arian Foster could be out three to four weeks with his hamstring injury. He s done light jogging for 2 days, Cowherd tweeted.

The first round of the tweet war was launched Sunday when Foster, a top draft choice in the world of fantasy football, responded to tweets about his injury.

4 those sincerely concerned, I m doing ok & plan 2 B back by opening day. 4 those worried abt your fantasy team, u ppl are sick, Foster said.

Cowherd replied, Hey Arian Foster. We really do care about you as a human too. Um,now about that hammy? --signed, everybody

Foster countered with: Did you want to be a critic as a child? Or did your dreams die with your humility?
