HOUSTON Houston police officers have released a sketch of one of the suspects wanted in connection to a home invasion and shooting that happened on February 4.

Police said four gunmen wearing masks kicked in the front door of a home in the 7400 block of Antoine around 4 a.m. while a family slept.

The husband heard them coming and locked the bedroom door. He climbed out a window and ran through the neighborhood knocking on doors, but no one would answer. He then took to the streets and managed to flag down a car.

He s screaming, Help me! Help me! They re inside my house. They ve got my family, a driver who pulled over to help said.

The driver, whose wants his identity withheld, looked into the home and was shocked by what he saw.

I glanced inside and these guys had his wife and kids, and they had them on their knees execution-style, and two of the guys had guns at their heads, he said.

As the suspects fled, the good Samaritan sprang into action and began to scuffle with one of them. That is when he was shot in the leg. Despite the injury, he is glad he could help.

Anybody else would do it, not just me, he said.

The suspects all managed to get away, but police released a sketch of one of them. They hope someone will identify him, which could eventually get all of the suspects off the streets.
