ATLANTA --The nation will pause Mondayto remember Martin Luther King Jr. with parades, marches and service projects.

King was born Jan. 15, 1929, and the federal holiday is the third Monday in January.

August 28, 2013 marked the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his powerful, historic I Have a Dream' speech.
