HOUSTON Three gay people who work for the City of Houston are suing Mayor Parker and the City in federal court.

They want Houston to reinstate benefits for same-sex couples who were legally married in other states.

The mayor had extended benefits to those couples last month, but the Harris County Republican Party convinced a county state judge to stop it.
