HOUSTON -- The man accused of shooting three people at Lone Star College missed another court date because his lawyer is sick.

Trey Foster cannot appear in court without his lawyer so his court date has been reset for July.

Community activist Quanell X said it is a misunderstanding.

This has been a total breakdown in communication, Quannell X said.

Foster, who s been free on a $50,000 bond since January and was supposed to be wearing an ankle monitor, did not show up for court on last Tuesday.

Foster s family said he missed court Tuesday because he was being treated for tonsillitis.

Quanell X believes his lawyer s own medical issues may have contributed to the misunderstanding with the court about Foster s own health problems last week.
