HOUSTON Undercover agents unloaded several thousand pounds of brick-like packages of pot Friday from a tanker truck in Pasadena.

Air 11 video showed the agents removing the tightly wrapped packages from a tanker truck parked in a Pasadena police impound lot located in the 3200 block of Red bluff. The agents placed the packages on the bed of a trailer and covered the load with a tarp.

The drugs were not obtained in Pasadena, but seized at another location in Harris County, according to Pasadena Assistant Police Chief Bud Corbett.

He said the investigation is ongoing and did not release any other information.

The bust was the result of a long-term multi-agency undercover narcotics investigation.
