HOUSTON -- The FBI Bank Robbery Task Force needs your help to identify a bank robber who hopped on a Metro bus after robbing the Wells Fargo Bank located at 14610 Memorial Drive Friday afternoon.

Officials say around 3:35 p.m., the man entered the bank and handed a teller a threatening note which demanded money. The teller complied and gave the robber some cash.

The Metro Bandit did not speak during the robbery. No weapon was seen and no one was hurt.

Officials say the Metro Bandit was last seen getting on an area Metro bus.

The suspect is described as a black male about 5 4 and weighing 220 pounds with a stocky build. He wore a black stocking hat, black shirt, black pants, and black shoes.
