HOUSTON-- You may need a jacket as you head out the door Wednesday morning, KHOU 11 News Chief Meteorologist Gene Norman said.

The day will begin with lows in the low 60s.

It will be a touch warmer. Southerly winds will return and that should boost temperatures into the mid-to-upper-80s, he said.

The seven-day forecasts shows warmer weather coming as the week ends. There is also a slight chance of rain for the weekend.
