HOUSTON--A man is facing charges after allegedly driving through a crowd of people outside a sports bar.

Jorge Luis Torres has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault. The 28-year-old is being held in the Harris County Jail.

Two people were hurt after Torres allegedly struck them. Deputies say the crash was the end result of a fight in the parking lot of Barney s Billiard Saloon off the Gulf Freeway.

One injured woman was hit twice when Torres backed up his vehicle and hit her again, resulting in a broken hip and pelvis, liver injuries and ligament tears to her knee, according to HPD spokeswoman Jodi Silva.
