HOUSTON A shooting at a Greenspoint area barbershop turned deadly Saturday afternoon when police say the owner pulled a gun on an angry customer.

According to the Houston Police Department, a man inside the Clipper King Barber Shop on Greens Road was unruly, and that s when they say things got out of hand.

The customer was acting belligerently inside the barber shop and he had been asked to leave and he was refusing to leave, HPD Det. M.F. Stahlin said.

That s when investigators said the owner shot and killed him. No word yet on if any other customers were inside, or if the owner claimed self-defense.

Charges are pending.
