HOUSTON A Houston doctor who was arrested and charged with criminal trespass and harassment after police said she broke into the home of her romantic rival has accepted a plea deal.

According to court documents, Dr. Angela Siler-Fisher broke into a West University area home on Dec. 1, 2013 by kicking in a doggy door. Once inside, she allegedly used lipstick to write whore and homewrecker on the woman s mirror.

According to sources, Siler-Fisher s husband, Brandon Fisher, called the other woman to let her know that his wife was on the way and the woman reportedly left the home with her kids before Siler-Fisher got there.

Neighbors said the accusations were totally out of character for Siler-Fisher.

Siler-Fisher, who is the medical director at Ben Taub Hospital s Emergency Center and a professor at Baylor College of Medicine, lives less than three miles from where she allegedly committed the crime.

She had no prior criminal record. Under the pretrial diversion program, an alternative to prosecution, the case will be dismissed if Siler-Fisher stays out of trouble for a year.
