MISSION BEND, Texas -- Fort Bend County Sheriff s investigators are asking for the public s help after a female jogger was abducted, robbed and sexually assaulted.

Deputies said the woman had been jogging Monday around 1 a.m. near Mission Oak Drive and Dora Meadows Drive in the Kingsbridge subdivision.

A Chevrolet HHR reportedly passed the woman and then turned back around.

According to deputies, the car pulled up next to the woman and a man in the backseat forced the woman in the car at gunpoint. The woman was taken to her home where she was robbed.

I m sorry that that lady, really, said neighbor Asifa Syed. I m very scared now. I m home with my daughter. If this happened to me, I don t know what I m going to do.

Investigators released surveillance video of the car involved in the crime and a sketch of the man who was driving.

He is described as heavy set and wore glasses. Detectives also said he has loose curls in his hair in an afro style and a goatee.

The backseat passenger is described as a thin man who wore a hoodie. He covered his face which explains why there is no sketch available of him.

Authorities said the man in the backseat forced the woman to perform a sex act.

She was later set free less than ten miles from where she was abducted at Beechnut and Sugarland-Howell Road.

Neighbor Swynn Montinez said he s going to be telling his kids why they can no longer play out in the neighborhood.

They re fearing for their life each time. It s like, they say, I want to go out and play. They can t go out and play because something like this happens, said neighbor Swynn Montinez.

Information which leads to the apprehension and filing of charges on the suspects involved could earn a reward of up to $5,000.
