SUGAR LAND, Texas Police have released sketches of two suspects who robbed a Sugar Land Pizza Hut over the weekend.

The armed robbers barged into the restaurant at 3638 State Highway 6 around 11 p.m. Sunday.

They pointed guns at employees, jumped the counter and demanded money from the safe.

A witness later told police that two men matching the gunmen s description were seen running through bushes at the Foundations at Edgewater Apartments at 2222 Settlers Way.

One of the men was black, 30 to 40 years old and about 6 feet tall. He was wearing black pants, a black shirt, a black hat and glasses.

The other man was black, in his early 20s and about 5 feet 9 inches tall. He was wearing khaki shorts or pants. He also had a thin beard that included sideburns that continued down his jaw line to his chin.

Anyone with information should call the Sugar Land Police Department at 281-275-2540 or Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers at 281-342-TIPS(8477).
