ALLEN, Texas -- The AllenSchoolDistrict Board of Trustees is expected to approve repairs for the district's Eagle Stadium.
The stadium, which was $60 million to build, has been closed after cracks were found in its foundation, along with other structural issues.
The construction company and architectural firm responsible have said they will cover the costs to fix everything -- which could run between $600,000 and $1 million.
Documents provided to News 8 on Monday show that the board will approve the construction plan and is using $2 million in bonds for the construction, renovation, acquisition and equipment of school facilities.
The school district then has the right to recover amounts spent for stadium repairs from the parties responsible for defects and/or construction problems and failures.
AllenISD hopes to have the stadium fixed in time for the 2015 graduation ceremony.
