HOUSTON -- A suspect in a San Antonio slaying in which the victim's body was stuffed in the trunk of a car has been captured in Houston.

The U.S. Marshals Service says 40-year-old Jose Antonio Gonzalez was caught Tuesday night hiding under a bed at a Houston apartment.

Gonzalez faces return to San Antonio on a murder charge in the June 30 fatal shooting of 39-year-old Ahn Cisneros. His body was discovered July 1 in the trunk of a parked car as police responded to reports of gunfire.

Witnesses reported seeing a man and a woman shove what appeared to be a body into the trunk. Police say a woman who allegedly helped clean the crime scene was arrested earlier this month on charges of altering, destroying or concealing a human corpse.
