HUMBLE, Texas Three family members were laid to rest Saturday following a fatal boat crash on Lake Conroe earlier this week.

Standing room only services took place at 10 a.m. for sisters Leilani Rose Cole and Kristina Cole Frost today. The funeral for Kristina s 9-year-old son Jason took place at 2 p.m. All services were held at Rosewood Funeral Home at 2602 South Houston Ave. in Humble.

The family asked that cameras remain outside the funeral chapel but they invited KHOU 11 News Reporter Larry Seward to attend the services. He has filed several reports on the tragedy.

Two rooms filled with loved ones, friends, Seward said describing the overflow crowd inside the chapel. There were even strangers that didn t know the family.

A pastor close to the family shared some of his memories. He was a coach at a high school. The girls really made an impact. I guess they liked volleyball and they wrestled. They were very outgoing. They touched a lot of people, he said.

Kristina and Leilani s mother echoed the same sentiment.

They were two precious girls and they touched so many lives in a short time, Ellen Cole said.

Little Jason s father Kris Frost and family members issued a statement which reads in part:

On behalf of the Frost and Cole families, I would like to thank everyone who has reached out to show love and support during this tragedy. We re truly blessed to be surrounded by great friends and a wonderful community. It s amazing to see how many lives Jason touched in his short time on this earth. He was a good smart kid and he is greatly missed.

We would also like to thank the Kingwood Forest Cove Baseball Association for everything they ve done the past couple of days (Jason was an avid baseball player). If anyone would like to make a donation...there is an online fundraiser.

All donations will be used for the memorial service, medical bills and the betterment of Jason s little sister, Savanna.

Boater safety is so important and can save lives. Anyone that s going to be on the water...please use caution and be responsible. No one deserves to endure what this family is going through. Please keep the Frost and Cole families in your hearts and prayers.

Paying for one funeral is expensive. Paying for three is extraordinary. So the call has gone out on at least three online sites to help the family with burials and medical bills. About $32,000 has been donated so far.

The donations just started pouring in from all across the world. We have China, the U.K., Australia, New Zealand. I mean the support has been phenomenal, said Mary Cole, sister and aunt to the victims.

We were able to do this (hold services) because of everybody s help and consideration. It s amazing. Thank you, said James Cole, brother and uncle to the victims.

Meantime Montgomery County authorities have been working everyday using 3-D technology to reconstruct exactly how and why a bass boat rammed the pleasure boat the family and their friends were cruising in on Lake Conroe Tuesday night.

The bass boat carried country singer Josh Ward who suffered a broken elbow. He has asked for prayers for Leilani, Kristina and Jason s family. Some of them, including Jason s little sister Savannah, face lengthy recoveries from injuries they suffered.
