A couple is facing a massive bill all because they went online and complained about a company.

For Christmas a couple years ago, Jen Palmer's husband ordered some trinkets from the KlearGear website.

Thirty days later when the products didn t arrive, PayPal cancelled the payment, and after never getting through to KlearGear, Palmer went online to write a complaint about the company.

The company fired back and said it would charge the couple $3,500 if the complaint wasn't removed.

Hidden in the online sales contract, there's a clause saying customers would be charged if they criticized the company.

They're blackmailing us for telling the truth, Palmer said. I have the right to tell somebody else these guys ripped me off.

Thanks to the outstanding bill from KlearGear, the Palmers said their credit has been ruined and they can't get a loan.
