DALLAS -- Dallas police have released photos and video of two men who are considered persons of interest in the murder of 78-year-old Avanell Cowgill.
She was found dead at her home in the 11300 block of Earlywood Drive on Saturday after neighbors became concerned about her welfare.
Police said the two men were observed at various stores last Friday using the victim's credit cards.
The police statement included this information about the two men:
The first person is a white male over 6 feet tall, weighing about 250 lbs. He changes his appearance from one store to another and tries to avoid store security cameras. He is seen wearing a grey windbreaker, blue baseball cap with a B to the front, blue jeans and white shoes.
The same person is seen at a second store wearing a brown hoody work jacket, black/ red baseball cap with a letter B to the front, blue jeans and white shoes.
The second person is a white male, about 5 8 tall, weighing about 160 lbs., wearing red, yellow, black multi-color horizontal striped shirt.
Police said the men were seen driving an older model silver four-door compact vehicle that's missing a back right hubcap.
Oak Farms Dairy has offered a $10,000 reward and Crime Stoppers added $5,000 to the total for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the person or persons who are responsible for murdering Avanell Cowgill.
