THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- A Woodlands couple is shaken up but unharmed after three intruders kicked in the back door of their home.
It happened just after 9 p.m. Wednesday on East Sterling Pond Circle in the Alden Bridge subdivision.
The woman had just returned home from her dry cleaning business in Willis.
She had been home for less than ten minutes when the criminals suddenly barged into the home. Deputies say one of the intruders restrained the woman while the other two went searching for valuables.
Their crime was cut short when the woman s husband pulled into the driveway.
I said, 'Hey, what are you guys doing? Get off my property, said the husband, who didn t want to give his name. He said, 'Oh, calm down, calm down.
The husband wrestled one of the criminals outside.
While that was happening, another one of the suspects moved the husband s SUV, which was blocking the getaway car.
Those kind of person need to, you know, we need to eliminate them, not put them even in jail, waste our taxpayer money, explained the husband. If you get the chance, kill them.
The husband says he has his concealed handgun license but left his gun in the house.
He says this would be a much differently story if he had been carrying his gun.
My neighbor ran over here and was pounding on the door. He was screaming for help, said Dan, who lives next door. He says I scared them off by coming out. I yelled, 'What s going on.'
The suspects vanished in a black sedan.
How can they do that to a very innocent and very nice people? How can they do that? I just don t understand, said Shirley, who is friends with the homeowners.
According to the homeowners, the criminals only got away with a camcorder and some cash from the woman s purse.
One of the suspects was described as a black male, approximately 6 2 to 6 3 , and was wearing a dark jacket and a dark beanie on his head.
Another suspect was reportedly a black male, approximately 5 10 and was wearing a black hoodie. The third suspect was described as a black male, approximately 5 6 , and was wearing a black hoodie with green print on the front.
