ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico -- A 10-year-old boy with muscular dystrophy has always wanted to be a police officer, and the Make a Wish Foundation made it happen.

The foundation linked up with the Albuquerque New Mexico Police Department to stage an elaborate bank robbery spree.

Andrew Martines was put on the case and he cracked it. He also got to slap the handcuffs on the bad guy.

He's been wanting to this his whole life, since he was four, so they made it all possible and we're just really grateful and blessed, said Tina Martines, Andrew s mother.

Tina said Andrew was so excited that he could barely sleep.
