LAKE CONROE A family of 19 is grieving the loss of three loved ones after a boating crash on Lake Conroe Tuesday night.

Kristina Frost, 29, had two children: Michael, 9, and a 3-year-old daughter. Only the girl survived the crash.

They were on a boat with Kristina s sister, Leilani, along with Leilani s boyfriend, Brandon Wilson, and two teenage relatives.

They were cruising on Lake Conroe when a bass boat plowed into them.

Leilani, 30, died almost immediately. Kristina fell into the lake. Divers needed several hours to find her body. Her son, Michael, died at Memorial Hermann. His 3-year-old sister is stable and will be released from the hospital, according to her grandmother.

Those two girls were probably the most amazing people you will ever know, said Michele Cole, one of Leilani and Kristina s sisters. Lani loved nature. She d tell you everything about it. Krissy loved life. She didn t want to miss a beat.

Little Jason was full of life like his mommy, said Ellen Cole, Jason s grandmother. There wasn t anything he couldn t do. He was an all-star baseball player this year. You couldn t hold him down.

I just want to tell everyone to cherish the time you have with your loved ones because life is fragile, said Lilly Cole, Michael s aunt.

(Leilani and Kristina) are my kids, said James Cole. I m the father and Jesus is with me, giving me strength and I know Jesus is with them now.

Country singer Josh Ward was a passenger in the bass boat involved in the crash. He and his driver, a fishing buddy, were leaving a bass tournament. Both were tossed into the water. Ward broke an elbow and had to cancel his band s July 4th concert. However, he and his friend are alive.

On Facebook, Ward asked for prayers for the Frost and Cole families. Those families say to get through their tragedy they need God.
