HOUSTON One person was injured after a car drove into a northwest Houston home early Sunday, police said.
According to the Houston Police Department, it happened around 3 a.m. at West 11th Street and Rutland.
Investigators said a Chrysler car with three females inside was heading west on West 11th when another car came into her lane.
The driver of the Chrysler car swerved to avoid the car and lost control, slamming into the side of a house, police said. The car ended up halfway into the kitchen.
Police said one female was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
There were two males home at the time in bed, but they were not injured, police said.
