HOUSTON - Houston firefighters responded to a small fire at an apartment complex on the southeast side early Monday.

The fire was reported around 1 a.m. in the 4000 block of Old Galveston Road.

According to Dist. Chief Ronnie Martin, one second floor unit was damaged from the flames and smoke.

No injuries were reported.

Arson investigators were called in to determine a cause for the fire.
