HOUSTON Two people were shot Wednesday afternoon in northeast Houston.

A witness said two cars pulled up in front of an auto shop at Parker near Highway 59. The occupants exchanged words and that s when one person pulled out a gun and shot in the other car. Two people were hit.

One person that was hit in the face got out of the car and into a nearby garage to hide. The driver that was hit in the shoulder drove a few blocks down and bailed out of the car.

Both victims were transported to Ben Taub Hospital and were both expected to survive. Police were still on the scene looking for a suspect in a black car.
