FORT HOOD, Texas -- More information is being released about the Fort Hood shooter and his victims more than 24 hours after officials say 34-year-old Ivan Lopez opened fire on post and killed three people before turning the gun on himself.

A close family friend of 37-year-old Sgt. Timothy Owens tells KVUE he was a good husband to his wife Billie, and a good man.

Owens was shot and killed by Lopez on Wednesday afternoon.

Iraq War veteran Major Patrick Miller, 32, was shot and injured. He is a husband to nurse Ashley Miller.

These are the faces and names of two of Lopez s victims. There are 19 total.

Lopez's neighbors in shock learning the apparently happy, friendly father of a 3-year-old could do something like this.

I m still in disbelief about it. Because this is not the guy that I always saw, said neighbor Xanderia Morris.

I just...I can t believe it was him, neighbor Sheniece Banks said Thursday.

But Lopez s online presence shows a darker side.

Posting under the name Ivan Slipknot, his Facebook status on March 1 reads:

I have just lost my inner peace. Full of hatred, I think this time the devil will take me...I was robbed last night, and I am sure it was two guys. Green light and finger ready, as easy as that.

The post was made on the same day Fort Hood Lt. General Mark Milley says Lopez legally purchased his gun from the same store Nadal Hassan bought his gun for the 2009 Fort Hood shooting.

He purchased a weapon from Guns Galore on [March 1], that's correct, said Milley at a press conference on post Thursday afternoon.

Milley also said they believe Lopez s mental health is ultimately the reason he opened fire, but there was some sort of confrontation between Lopez another soldier.

They are still interviewing witnesses.
