HOUSTON Keep an umbrella with you this weekend because we mayhave a few showers accompanying us over the next few days, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Gene Norman said.

Saturday will begin with lows in the mid-70s and will warm up to the low 90s. There is a 30-percent chance for rain.

A couple of scattered showers should develop, Norman said.

The seven-day forecast shows decreasing rain chances for the second half of the weekend, Normans said.

There is a 20-percent chance for showers Sunday. .

High temperatures over the next seven days will be in the low- to mid- 90s.

Meanwhile,Tropical Storm Isaac was even stronger Friday night as it moved down on Haiti. Its max winds were just shy of hurricane strength at 70 mph, and it moved northwest at 14 mph. The new track projected Issac would graze Cuba Saturday, then head for south Florida Sunday, and the panhandle late Tuesday as an even stronger hurricane.
