HOUSTON A naked Humble man was arrested after a domestic disturbance call ended in a police pursuit, Montgomery County deputies said.

It happened just before midnight Friday when two deputy constables responded to a call regarding a violation of a protective order in New Caney.

The dispatch said a man was trying to break down the door of a residence to reach his ex-wife. As deputies approached the scene they saw a vehicle matching the description from the call, and said the driver disregarded a stop sign.

When the deputies attempted to initiate a traffic stop they said William Moss pulled into a driveway in the 21800 block of McCluskey. But instead of stopping, investigators said he drove through the yard, through a gate and into the woods.

About a mile away he crashed, then jumped out the vehicle and ran for about a quarter of a mile, deputies said. Deputies said when he stopped he refused to cooperate and put his hands up so he was Tasered.

Deputies asked Moss why he was naked.

At first Moss first said he was robbed, but then said he waswith a married woman when her husband came home and he had no choice but to go out of a bedroom window and flee naked, Montgomery County officials said.

A glass pipe containing burnt methamphetamine, and a pair of jeans was found inside his vehicle, investigators said.

However, it turns out he was not the person involved in the original dispatch call.

Moss, 40, was charged with state jail felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and state jail felony Evading Arrest/Detention with a Vehicle.
