HOUSTON Our producers at did the research and found 33 fun things you and your family can do in the Houston area that cost $2 or less. In fact, most things on the list are free.

One of Houston s most-photographed, most-popular hang-outs is on the list the Williams Tower Water Wall.

Anything like this is good, just to get out, said Lad Moehnke, who took the day off recently to enjoy the wall with his 18-month-old son, Grayson.

And the best part is, hanging out at the Water Wall will cost you absolutely nothing.

The same is true for the Lee and Joe Jamail Skate Pak just west of downtown. Even if you are not a skateboarder, being a spectator is fun all by itself.

Have you ever seen the Beer Can House near Memorial Park? It s worth a trip. It s not free, but all they ask for is a $2 donation.

Miller Outdoor Theatre is also on the list. It s an oldie, but a goodie. The season for free outdoor performances began in March.

Several things are on the list that, chances are, you didn t even know were in our city. Did you know Houston has a Bible Museum?

If you go to this at Houston Baptist University, you will see a rare collection of American Bibles, said Christine Di Stadio, KHOU-TV Director of Digital Media.

At the Holocaust Museum, you get a rare and moving experience. A visit provides an excellent living history lesson for children and adults.

I think that this is a great opportunity for you to learn about Houston. Enjoy the outdoors, enjoy the indoors, said Di Stadio.
