HOUSTON A chain-reaction crash sent ten people to the hospital Saturday.It happened on Highway 6 near Patterson in west Harris County.

Police said around 9:15 p.m. a car traveling southbound on Highway 6 lost control and veered into oncoming northbound traffic.A car traveling in the opposite direction then T-boned the car that skidded in front of it.Then, a third car came along and slammed into the two crashed cars.

Two people were airlifted to Memorial Hermann in serious, but stable condition.Eight others were transported by ground to a local hospital.The accident shut down Highway 6 in both directions for almost two hours.
