HOUSTON Friday s forecast calls for a warm and sunnyafternoon, KHOU 11 News Meteorologist Gene Norman said.

The day will start with lows in the low 60s and will warm up nicely.

Friday afternoon we ll see low 80s for a high; it will be breezy with a mix of sun and clouds, he said.

The seven-day forecast shows we ll start to see a few changes on Saturday. There s a 20-percent chance for rain on Saturday and 40-percent chance on Sunday.

There could be some severe weather north of town, late Sunday night, he said.

Through the weekend temps will be in the 80s, but by Monday the afternoon high will drop into the low-60s.
