HOUSTON--A visitation was held this morning for the unarmed wheelchair-bound man, who was shot and killed by a Houston police officer.

Brian Claunch, a double amputee, was killed September 23 at the group home where he lived.

Police say officer Matthew Marin shot him after it appeared he was trying to stab another officer with an object in his hand.

That object turned out to be a pen.

The shooting outraged some people in the community who said police should have known Claunch suffered from mental illness.
